Former Detroit Mayor Loses Case Against Lawyer Who Leaked Scandalous Text Messages

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's $2.66 million lawsuit against lawyer Michael Stefani, who leaked the explosive text messages that led to Kilpatrick's downfall, was tossed out on Thursday. A Michigan judge found that Kilpatrick had signed away his right to sue Stefani when he agreed to a settlement in a police whistleblower lawsuit in 2007.
